Every year during the month of October, artists are able to take part in a self directed drawing challenge. Each day the artist needs to draw a picture. It can be small or large but the end result is in ink and they must post their picture somewhere on social media. This is used as an opportunity for artists to gain exposure and challenge themselves to produce something even if the end result is not perfect. Trying to get artists to commit to drawing everyday for a month can be daunting. It is hard. I tried to do this challenge last year but only made a week.
This Inktober I have taken up the Characters of the Forest Inktober challenge. Each drawing will be something from a fantastical forest.
