Meet The Designer

Madeline Snyder is a UX and graphic designer based in Toronto, Canada. She holds a Degree in Design from the Bachelor of Design Co-op program at Conestoga College and holds a Master’s of Digital Media from Ryerson University. She would describe her style as quirky, funny, and sometimes weird. Often she finds her inspiration from nature, podcasts, music, and other artists. Quirky comic artists such as Sarah Anderson, Simone Grünewald, Debbie Balboa and more are among the artists she is inspired by. Her area of focus is illustration, layout, and UX design.

While on co-op she worked as a graphic designer in the department of athletics at the University of Guelph where she created layouts, edit photos, and redesigned all of the schools and departments logos. She then went to work for RBC in the Intrepreneurship department. There she worked as a UX designer creating work for employee engagement within the bank. She would also consult on other teams for design advice.

While at grad school her research focused on improving composting rates within large cities by using digital media to assist the people who need the resources. She used her passion for sustainability to create a researched-back solution to create an accessible and convenient service.

She has worked as a lead designer at a small biomedical startup, a freelancer, and currently, she is working as a part-time drawing instructor at Conestoga College.
